Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 2026 • Regulated under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)

1. Commitment to Privacy

Avenir Tech ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to safeguarding the personal information of our Australian small business clients and their end users. This Privacy Policy outlines our standards for collecting, holding, using, and disclosing Personal Information in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. Information We Collect

In order to provision websites, register Australian domain names, and provide managed support, we collect the following categories of information:

  • Business & Identity Records: Australian Business Number (ABN), Australian Company Number (ACN), registered entity trade name, and director/contact names.
  • Contact Information: Direct email addresses, physical operating addresses, service suburb definitions, and primary business mobile phone numbers.
  • Voice Notes & Media: Voice recordings uploaded or recorded via our in-browser microphone tools, as well as job-site photographs, business logos, and related brand assets.
  • Technical & Billing Identifiers: Stripe Customer IDs, subscription tokens, IP addresses, and DNS zone configurations. (Full credit card numbers are processed directly via Stripe and are never stored on our servers).

3. Purpose and Use of Collected Information

We process your data strictly to execute our commercial web-delivery agreement:

  • Validating entity eligibility with the Australian Business Register (ABR) and .au Domain Administration (auDA).
  • Transcribing and synthesizing uploaded audio voice notes into professional website copywriting.
  • Generating click-to-call integrations, contact forms, and client lead management dashboards.
  • Communicating site status changes, domain renewal confirmations, and essential billing updates via SMS or email.

4. Domain Registration & Third-Party Disclosures

To fulfill our services, select data must be shared with authorized third-party service providers:

(a) auDA Accredited Registrars: Under auDA regulations, registering a .com.au or .net.au domain requires transmitting the registrant entity name, ABN/ACN, and contact details to the official domain registry database.

(b) Payment Processors: Recurring subscription payments are processed via Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd under strict PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.

(c) Edge Infrastructure: Production sites and assets are deployed across secure Australian edge nodes (Sydney/Melbourne) to maintain low latency and high availability.

5. Storage, Retention & Audio Voice Note Deletion

All stored client databases, form submissions, and media files are encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL). Voice notes recorded by clients during onboarding are retained securely only until custom site copywriting is reviewed and deployed to production, after which audio recordings can be permanently purged upon written request.

6. Access, Correction & Inquiries

Under the APPs, you maintain the right to access the personal information we hold about you or request corrections if your contact or business details change. To inspect or correct records, contact our Privacy Officer at:
